1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PolyLinks mobile application ("the app") provided by LingTissa, LLC ("we," "our," "us"). By downloading, installing, or using PolyLinks, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of the App

PolyLinks is a language learning application that teaches vocabulary across multiple languages using flashcard-based learning, audio pronunciation, games, and user-created content. The app is available on Android and iOS devices.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use PolyLinks. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

4. User-Generated Content

PolyLinks allows you to create custom vocabulary decks, including adding your own words and images from your device ("User Content"). By creating User Content, you agree that:

• You are solely responsible for all content you add to the app
• Your content will not contain nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence
• Your content will not depict or promote illegal activity
• Your content will not harass, bully, or target any individual or group
• Your content will not infringe on any third party's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
• You have the right to use any images you add to the app

User Content is stored locally on your device only and is not shared with other users or transmitted to our servers. You are entirely responsible for the content you create and store on your own device.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PolyLinks to:

• Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
• Attempt to circumvent any security features or access controls
• Use the app in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality
• Abuse or attempt to exploit the third-party API services the app relies on

6. Intellectual Property

PolyLinks and all of its original content, features, and functionality. Including but not limited to the app design, built-in vocabulary decks, game mechanics, and branding. Are owned by LingTissa, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

The built-in vocabulary words, translations, and associated content are provided for educational use within the app only. You may not copy, distribute, or commercialize this content outside of the app.

7. Third-Party Services

PolyLinks uses third-party services including Google Cloud Text-to-Speech, Unsplash, and DeepL to provide certain features. Your use of these features is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of those services. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers.

8. Pro Features and Purchases

PolyLinks offers optional Pro features available through an in-app purchase. All purchases are processed through Google Play or the Apple App Store. Refunds are subject to the refund policies of those platforms. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove Pro features at any time with reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

PolyLinks is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy of translations or pronunciation audio provided by third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LingTissa, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use PolyLinks, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app or its features in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LingTissa, LLC and its members, officers, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of PolyLinks, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PolyLinks at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of PolyLinks after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
