Is Pro really a one-time purchase, not a subscription?

Yes. Absolutely. You pay once and own it. There are no monthly fees, no annual renewals, and no surprise charges. We believe language learning tools should be affordable, and subscriptions that charge you forever are not affordable.

How long is the introductory price available?

The $4.99 introductory price is available for a limited time during our launch period. After that, Pro will increase to its regular price of $9.99. If you're reading this, the introductory price is likely still active. Grab it while you can.

What happens if I delete the app and reinstall it?

Your Pro purchase is tied to your store account, not your device. On Android, sign into the same Google account and Google Play will restore your purchase automatically. On iOS, sign into the same Apple ID and tap Restore Purchases in Settings. The App Store will re-entitle Pro on your device.

Can I use Pro on multiple devices?

Yes. Your purchase follows your store account. Android devices share Pro through your Google account; iOS and iPadOS devices share it through your Apple ID (including Family Sharing, if you've enabled it). Note that Google Play and App Store purchases are separate ecosystems, so a purchase made on Android cannot be transferred to an iPhone, and vice versa.

Does the app work offline?

Most of the app works offline once audio has been downloaded. The first time you hear a word, PolyLinks fetches the pronunciation from Google's servers and caches it on your device. After that, it plays instantly without an internet connection. Creating new custom decks and fetching new images does require an internet connection.

Why does audio take a moment on first listen?

PolyLinks uses Google's Neural2 text-to-speech technology to generate natural, human-quality pronunciation. The first time you hear a word, it downloads the audio file and saves it to your device. After that, it plays instantly. A good Wi-Fi connection on your first session makes this process very fast.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through. On Google Play, you can request a refund within 48 hours of purchase directly through the Play Store. On the App Store, refunds are requested via reportaproblem.apple.com and are reviewed by Apple on a case-by-case basis (typically within 90 days of purchase). For anything outside those windows, please contact us and we'll do our best to help.

What payment methods are accepted?

All payments are processed securely through your device's app store. Google Play accepts credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Google Pay, and carrier billing where available. The App Store accepts credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Apple ID balance, and gift cards. LingTissa never handles or stores your payment information directly.

Will there be more Pro features in the future?

Yes. We're actively developing new features. Pro users get access to all future Pro features at no additional cost. Your one-time purchase covers everything we add to the Pro tier going forward.
